Announcing the Stack's inaugural Tech for Good awards, 2021.
We want to hear from and champion projects, companies, or organisations that are showcasing the innovative use of technology to enact positive environmental, economic, or social change.
Whether you are using geospatial data to track and mitigate deforestation, sensors and smartphones to test water quality, handheld smart devices to help the unbanked enter the financial system in remote areas, or machine learning to expedite drug development, we want to hear from you.
The entry fee is £295, which supports The Stack's operational costs. We are donating 25% of all awards fees to pioneering sustainability non-profit the Earth Innovation Institute.
To enter, submit a 500-1000 word application below by May 7, detailing why your project should be shortlisted.
The Stack’s Tech for Good awards will be judged Pamela Dyson, CIO of the New York Federal Reserve Bank, Charlie Paton, CEO of multiple award-winning sustainability business Seawater Greenhouse, Christina Hammond-Aziz, managing director, Rainmaker Solutions, and Dr Louise Beaumont, investor and policy advisor.
Judging will take place in May, with finalists announced in July. Winners across three categories (small, medium, large organisations) will win a media partnership with The Stack through calendar 2021.
All applicants will be recognised in The Stack on website and social.
