As videos of the World Humanoid Robot Games in China dominate social media feeds, European robotics company Motion closed a $2 million pre-seed round supporting its mission to bring China's embrace of humanoids over to European production environments.

CEO Alex Stevens spoke to The Stack about this mission, the role Motion plays in bringing hardware and AI models together, and the growing abilities of open source models.
